Cattleman's Club 1
Patton's Way
Patton Jones has been deceiving Chase, Slade, and Devin Davis, but she’s
tired of playing the sweet, innocent, sisterly figure. When the brothers
confront her with her lies, she decides it’s time for the Davis brothers to
see her as the woman she really is.
Patton isn’t the only one keeping secrets and the brothers fear that
their own hidden lifestyle might be more than their little woman can handle.
The brothers are unaware that Patton knows about their dark desires and is
not the least bit intimidated.
Knowing and experiencing are two different things.
As Patton tastes small samples of the forbidden fruit, she becomes even
more reckless in her enthusiasm to get the three brothers into her bed. Patton’s
wild schemes go too far and the brothers have to make a decision that will
seal all their fates.

"Patton’s Way is like being the eye of a storm. I love the way the
four strong characters constantly clash and intertwine. This is a totally
character driven story, where the characters suck you straight into their
world and whip you through the madness they’re living in. I hope everybody
else enjoys it as much as I do." ~ Jenny ~ |

REVIEWS for Patton's Way
[Cattleman's Club 1]
Joyfully Recommended:
"Patton’s Way deserves a warning on the cover “hottest book of the fall”
as far as I am concerned. I loved how Ms. Penn had all of the characters play
off each other’s strengths and desires. I thought it was a riot that every time
Patton thought she was controlling a situation, she somehow wound up losing, not
a bad position to be in with these three hunks. I picked up this first in a
series on a whim and now I am hooked and impatiently waiting for Hailey’s story
to come out. I do warn you that you will not want to read this story in public
if you are one who blushes easily or you will have a lot of explaining to do as
this book will raise your heart rate in a just a few pages. I am Joyfully
Recommending Patton’s Way. Is the next book out yet?" --Tanya,

Bookmarks: "I absolutely LOVED Patton's Way: Cattleman's Club,
Book 1! I would rank this as one of my favorite stories of the year.
Remember the name Jenny Penn as I predict this author as a true rising star
among authors. This story hooked me right from the beginning and never let go, I
couldn't put the book down. The plot twists and turns and the friction and heat
between the brothers and Patton explode like an inferno. Patton's Way:
Cattleman's Club, Book 1 is outstanding and I can't wait for the next story
in this series, Hailey's Game. This story will turn you on like no
other." -- Daria Wright, Wild on Books

Ribbons: "Oh wow! I simply wasn’t able to put this book down once I
started reading. Patton is such a spunky little obstinate fireball that I
couldn’t wait to found out what she’d do and whom she’d involve in her schemes.
Chase, Slade and Devin obviously love her but they feel a need to protect her
from their lifestyle and are clueless as to how to handle her seductive
maneuvering. Patton's Way roused all sorts of emotions in me - everything from
tears to laughter and even a little envy...ok, a lot of envy. I’m now
anxiously awaiting upcoming books in this series - especially HAILEY'S GAME
which will have Patton's friend, Hailey, who is the subject of Cole and Kyle’s
desire. Cole and Hailey's antagonism for each other is just too intense not to
result in a seriously passionate relationship and I'm really anxious to find out
how Kyle fits into the mix." -- Chrissy Dionne, Romance Junkies Reviews.

STORY EXCERPT
“Now, you know when a man walks in on you fucking
yourself and doesn’t offer you a hand that he’s not interested.”
Patton sighed.
“I don’t know.” Hailey still hadn’t stopped giggling.
“Maybe it has something to do with him being your brother.”
“Don’t start with that crap. Chase is not even my
step-brother,” Patton corrected quickly. “We’re not related.”
“Technically, but he probably still thinks of himself as
your protector.” Hailey belched after making that declaration.
“They’re not related to me either, but they still manage to
drive me insane with their pompous attitude.”
“Pompous.” Patton snickered. “I’d say it was more as if
it were a God complex. They think they rule the world and we
should be happy to be allowed into their kingdom.”
“They treat us as if we’re still eight.”
“Eight-year-olds don’t have boobs like these.” Patton
pointed to her chest.
“Some do. Some of them fashion cover models aren’t old
enough to drive. Of course, most of them probably aren’t virgins
by the time they start to drive.”
“Gee, thanks, Hailey.” Patton gave her friend an
insincere smile. “Make me feel better, why don’t you?”
“Hey, don’t whine to me. You don’t have to be a virgin.
You could have had the whole alphabet from Adam to Zack if you
wanted by now.”
“I’m waiting for the right man.” Patton began to pick at
the label on her bottle, venting her annoyance on the stubborn
sticker.
“Technically three men, which makes you the sluttiest
virgin I’ve ever heard of.”
“I love Chase, Slade and Devin, but if it isn’t to be, I
guess I’ll find myself three other hunks to gang bang me. God
knows there are enough ripped men running around Atlanta to
scratch any kind of itch.”
“Really? Then why haven’t you?”
Patton’s shoulders slumped. “I guess I just wanted to be
in love with a guy before we had sex.”
“That’s sweet.”
“It’s stupid.”
“No, it isn’t. Following three men around like a love
sick puppy when all they do is pat you on the head and tell you
‘good, girl’, that’s stupid.”
“I do not follow them around like a puppy.”
“Please, spare me. You’re the strongest, hard-willed
woman I know, but when it comes to the Davis brothers, you turn
into some weak, little woman, doing whatever they want, whatever
they say.”
“I do not!”
“Yeah? So you regularly wear skirts that come down to
your ankles and turtle necks all the way up to your chin?”
“Screw you, Hailey.”
“Let me ask you this, if it had been any other man than
Chase, what would you have done to him for walking out on you
like he did today?”
She would have tracked his ass down, pinned him to the
wall and ripped him a new one. She might have gone to an adult
toy store and bought a pump to send him with a too sweet note
apologizing for not recognizing his problem. All sorts of
vindictive, mean spirited ideas came to mind.
“That’s what I thought.”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“You didn’t have to. Your expression said it all. You
would have hurt and humiliated the bastard, but what did you do
with Chase? Jumped out a window and ran away. Why don’t you just
keep on running, Patton? Run all the way back to Atlanta, to the
life you built there and just admit defeat.”
Admit defeat? Never.
* * * *
Both girls were too involved in their conversation to
notice Devin moving past the open garden gate or see his head
appearing briefly before he ducked back out of sight. Still
thinking that they were alone, their conversation went on
uncensored.
Devin closed his eyes and banged his head against the
fence. He didn’t need to hear this. From finding out that she
was a virgin, to knowing that she wanted not just one, but all
three of them to make her a woman, it was just too much.
The idea that she intended to give up, go looking for
three other men to take her innocence made his blood boil. He
didn’t direct his anger at Patton though. He aimed it at his two
hardheaded brothers for putting them all in this situation.
Patton had been right when she said that they weren’t her
brothers. They weren’t, not by blood, not by marriage, not by
law. They were her self-appointed guardians, nothing more.
Patton’s voice broke through Devin’s thoughts. “I refuse
to admit defeat.”
“Then you’re going to die a virgin.”
“Maybe that’s the problem.”
“That’s what I’ve been telling you.”
“No, I mean, maybe if I had some experience, it would
help me figure out how to seduce Chase, Slade and Devin.”
“It’s like watching a horse beat its head into a stall
door.”
“I’m serious. What I need is a throw away guy.”
“A throw away guy?”
“Yeah, a friend with benefits.”
“That’s never going to work.”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re not the type of woman.”
“I could be.”
“You’ll fall in love and then be in a worse spot for
loving four men.”
“Are you going to help or sit there and make pithy little
remarks?”
“Fine, you want a throw away guy, I know just the man.”
“You do?”
“Trust me on this one. I’ll give him a call and we’ll get
that cherry popped before the end of the week.”
Devin took that cue to end this party. He needed to get
Patton back home before Chase got there and realized she’d
slipped out on him. When he and Slade found out she’d
disappeared from her room, they had thought she’d be back before
dark.
Then the sun went down and the brothers started to worry.
Neither knew what had happened between Chase and Patton, but
they knew what Chase would do if he learned about her escape.
“Does this hunk come with friends? You know after all
these years of fantasizing about being taken by three men at
once, I’m not sure only one will do.”
“Excuse me,” Devin spoke louder than necessary. “It’s
time to come home, Patton.”
His sudden appearance didn’t get so much as a squeak of
surprise from the two women. They both turned rounded, glazed
eyes on him. The empty beer bottles littered around the loungers
told him all he needed to know.
